This Remix event will highlight insights from the past three Rising Tide programs: Black Male Achievement, LGBTQ Issues, and Empowerment of Low-Income Women, while exploring new perspectives found at the intersection of all three topics. Join us as we bring local and national voices together in one forum to investigate the tides that rise in our community.

Keynote Speaker:

LaTosha Brown - Obama's

LaTosha Brown, Project Director, Grantmakers for Southern Progress. Grantmakers for Southern Progress (GSP) is a national working group of the Neighborhood Funders’ Group that seeks to engage Southern and National funders in a strategic vision and aligned action for achieving progress for the benefit of those who are least well off socially, economically and politically in the South. Ms. Brown is also an award-winning philanthropic consultant, community organizer, jazz singer and political strategist with over twenty years of experience working in the non-profit and philanthropy sectors on a wide variety of issues related to social justice, economic development, leadership development, wealth creation and civil rights.
