Guidebook to creating effective partnerships between companies and causes, with specific sections addressing issues that are unique to businesses and nonprofits. The Social Media Survival Guide for Nonprofits and Charitable Organizations: How to Build Your Base of Support and Fast-Track Your Fundraising Efforts Using Social Media by Sherrie Ann Madia. Covers the concepts, principles, techniques, and strategies of fundraising through the use of social media. Also shows how to connect more often and more effectively with current and prospective donors. Discusses prospect research, special events, social media stewardship, and media/public relations.
The Complete Idiot's Guide to Grant Writing by Waddy Thompson. Covers all aspects of proposal writing, from funding research to post-application. Includes sample proposals for foundation and government grants as well as sponsorships.
