As a follow-up to yesterday's (2/10/09) post about the stimulus package, here's more interesting information that you may already know if you follow us or other philanthropy-streamers (I made that up!) on Twitter. Laura Stanton at the Washington Post created a rather spectacular graphic, based on an analysis by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, that breaks down the $819 billion package approved by the House the other day. (According to the AP, today, House and Senate negotiators have agreed to a $789 billion package.)
It's definitely worth a look.
